Principals
Barry L. Crow
Chief Executive Officer
Barry holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from East Texas State University, which is now Texas A&M at Commerce. Barry has earned the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
He began his 30+ year career in the insurance industry with an underwriting position at Unitrin Insurance Company, later moving to the Royal Insurance Companies. In 1975 he accepted the Regional Underwriting Manager position at Utica National Insurance Group. In 1980 he joined a Regional Broker as Vice President of Marketing and Operations Manager.
Barry and Tom became partners to establish Robert & Crow, Inc. in 1985. They have developed a high respected and professional Dallas brokerage firm.
Thomas W. Roberts
Chief Operating Officer
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University, and has earned the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
Tom started is 30+ year career in the insurance industry with Industrial Risks Insurers as a Specialist in Property Loss Control. He moved to Marsh, Inc. and then Aon in Chicago as a Loss Control Specialist and salesman. Tom accepted a position as loss control engineer and salesman in Dallas with a Regional Broker. Tom and Barry met at this brokerage firm and became partners establishing Roberts & Crow, Inc. 2 years later.
Tom has served on the Board of Directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas. He presently serves on the Texas Mutual Agents Advisory Board and the Utica National Insurance Group Agents Advisory Board.
